An original piece of art made from driftwood & wire 

Handformed with a little help from a set of pliers set into a waxed driftwood base

A little bird sitting on a piece of driftwood chosen for the texture , the delicate feet of the bird wrapped around the branch 

The form is just perfect , the thin legs with the heavy form of the body , do you often wonder how a bird can stand on such delicate legs ? The piece captures  the delicate nature to give the bird an almost realistic look 

The bird is made from a bronze brown toned wire 

The wire is twisted and moulded to create the form , the only tools used are my hands and a small pair of wire pliers

Size .driftwood 14.5cm across 

8cm to the top of the bird approx 

Indoor use only & this is not a toy, so please keep away from little fingers due to the small parts
